[TUT] How To Post Pictures & Videos On Forums
Hi to all, this issue seems to come up from time-to-time, and it's not really explained in the FAQ either, so I understand it can be sometimes difficult to do for a new member, specially if that same member is generally new to online forums.
So lets see a couple of ways that you can share your awesome photos and videos here.
Posting pictures
Method 1 : Using external hosting service
If you have your pictures already uploaded to an external hosting service, such as Photobucket or Imageshack, the process is simple:
Step 1:
Press the "Image" button in the format bar and insert the URL of your image:
Step 2:
Then, confirm with OK, and your image URL will be added to the post, in IMG tags:
alternatively, you may include the image tags manually in the following format:
[IMG*] image url [/IMG*] (Removing *)
Method 2 : Uploading pictures to ImgServ hosti within the forum
If you do not wish to use an external host, as explained in the previous method, you may upload your pictures directly within your post. This method uses the Servimg host and does not require you to have a registration in an external site.
Step 1:
Press the "Host an image" button in the format bar and choose the image you want to upload:
Step 2:
Confirm by pressing "Host it"
Step 3:
You will see a screen where you can copy the several URLs for your image.
-Press the copy button for the URL in the middle, and copy it by hitting control + C on your keyboard.
-Press upload to confirm
Step 4:
Paste the copied code into your post.
Posting Youtube Videos
Method 1 : Using the video button
Step 1:
