Yes that is an adult and They are generally found under pieces of bark or other ground debris. In captivity they do well housed on a moist (not wet) coco-fiber substrate. This species is fairly active in captivity and is not known to be frequent burrowers, only digging a small scrape under bark pieces to find a nice humid spot.

I've quite seen lots of C. gracilis lol. They have pretty cute pedipalps. Or claws, if you wish.

Lol those live in the the states, they're the biggest in the whole country, in-fact. Most scorpions in the US just reach about 0.3 inches. Very Happy
